Less chemicals are

Exclusion, what is it? Many pest problems can be
prevented if the pests cannot gain access to the structure. Mice, rats,
bats, squirrels and many insects, can be handled with exclusion
strategies.
All homes should be periodically inspected for
signs of worn caulking frayed weather-stripping etc. IPMS continually
monitors your home or facility for areas of access that require sealing.
Correction for these issues can be addressed with your initial pest
treatment.
Many minor task are carried out as an integrated
part of your service. Tasks that require major time and or materials are
pointed out with an estimate for correction proposed.
Chemical treatment around the perimeter of your
home or facility is an intricate part of the exclusion process. Stopping
pests outside before they enter is the primary strategy of IPMS.
Some of the exclusion items that are identified
and corrected are:
|
Installing screens and vents.
Cleaning gutters and downspouts
Sealing cracks in the
foundation.
Capping chimneys and pointing
masonry.
Sealing and caulking around
windows and doors.
Installing weather stripping
around entry ways
